Coming soon to T2DTV our mission to take the SLamborgini to the big smoke. Yes after planning it for a few weeks we took, on a very early Sunday morning, a small crew, cameras and the star of the show which we trailered to our temporary base, thanks to artist Benedict Radcliffe, for the morning.
We hit the streets at around 6am starting in Shoreditch, via Brick Lane for Beigels then heading out through the city, The Embankment, Kensington and back through the city. We’ve built some head turners in our time but this was wild. As they heard us scraping up the street everyone stopped what they were doing and looked, snapped photos, but most importantly all had either looks of confusion or huge grins on their faces. That to us is the point of an artcar, not everyone will like what you’ve built but it’s that break from the norm, that flash of colour against a drab backdrop, repaid with a glance, a smile, a thumbs up.
Check out a taster of the #dawnraid on our instagram page this evening and look out for the next episode of T2DTV for the full story plus lots more with the SLamborghini and the Penfold 924 ending up in the Escapade Art Gallery at Silverstone where you can go and see both cars displayed alongside more incredible automotive art.
