Possibly the most glamorous option in the entire 1967 Volkswagen lineup, the Karmann Ghia Cabriolet. Built by coachworkers Karmann of Osnabrück designed by Luigi Segre of Carrozzeria Ghia. The Mango bodywork, interior and canvas hood were all refinished as part of a complete restoration by the previous owner and as you can see from the photos still looks absolutely stunning.
This particular example is in fantastic, ready to use condition having been meticulously looked after by us here at Type 2 Detectives and we have recently converted it to right hand drive for the current owner.
The Ghia sits at stock height at present but has an adjustable front beam should you wish to alter the stance.
Powered by a 1600cc flat four Volkswagen engine with original gearbox makes this a lovely car to live with. Certainly enough power to drive comfortably alongside modern traffic.
