Fully restored 6 years ago by Coolcampers and used as their demonstrator showcasing the best of what’s available. A four berth Coolcampers interior with a Rusty Lee rock and roll bed is difficult combination to beat when it comes to making the most of the available space. The elevated pop top on these late bay windows adds more than just physical headroom creating a sense of spaciousness not found in it’s tin-topped siblings.
Since the current owners purchased the van in 2020 it has been retrimmed with the seats finished in a contrasting blue vinyl with cream piping, complimentary door cards and patterned curtains. Hardwearing carpets and mats throughout.
The van is mechanically sound having been looked after by us here at Type 2 Detectives starting with the 500 mile run it service for the new engine and all services and work since. It has now passed the 6000 mile mark since the restoration.
